GENERAL TERMS OF STAY AND RESERVATION RULES
These conditions outline the general rules applicable to bookings, stays, guest conduct, and cancellation policies for accommodations promoted through the www.horizonvacationhome.com platform. The objective is to ensure a harmonious, respectful, and transparent experience for all parties involved.
Important Notice: Horizon Vacation Home acts as a digital intermediary in the promotion and reservation management of vacation properties, but is not a direct party to the lease contract. Bookings are formalized through external platforms and/or directly with the property owners.
- BOOKING REQUIREMENTS
- Only individuals over the age of 18 may place reservations.
- The person making the reservation is responsible for providing accurate information and for the conduct of all accompanying guests.
- Personal details such as full name, email, contact phone number, and nationality will be required to process the booking.
2. GUEST BEHAVIOR AND HOUSE RULES
- Hosting individuals not listed in the reservation is strictly prohibited.
- Parties, celebrations, and excessive noise are not permitted. Quiet hours: from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.
- Smoking is strictly forbidden inside the accommodation. It is only allowed in designated outdoor areas.
- Community pools, if available, are for the exclusive use of registered guests.
- Pets are not allowed unless previously and expressly authorized.
- Guests are expected to make responsible use of the property, its facilities, and utilities.
- The accommodation must be left in a reasonably clean condition, free of garbage or damage.
Failure to comply with these rules may result in early termination of the stay without refund and loss of the security deposit.
3. BOOKING & PAYMENT POLICY
- A booking is considered confirmed once the reservation process is completed on the linked external platform or explicitly accepted by the property owner.
- A €250 security deposit is mandatory to confirm the booking. It will be refunded within a maximum of 7 days after check-out, provided there is no damage or breach of rules.
- Payment for the stay must be completed according to the terms of the chosen booking channel. Horizon Vacation Home does not collect payments directly.
- Rates may include surcharges for cleaning, optional services, or late check-out. These will be specified during the reservation process.
4. CANCELLATION & CHANGES
- Bookings are subject to the cancellation policy selected at the time of reservation:
- Standard: Free cancellation up to 14 days before arrival.
- Non-refundable: No refunds are permitted.
- Any change in stay dates or number of guests may be subject to new pricing and availability.
- Horizon Vacation Home recommends purchasing travel cancellation insurance for added peace of mind.
5. CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT
- Check-in time depends on the property (please refer to the listing).
- Check-out must be completed by 11:00 AM.
- Early check-in or late check-out may be requested, subject to availability and additional cost.
- Online identification and check-in is mandatory prior to arrival. Details will be provided once your reservation is confirmed.
6. SECURITY DEPOSIT
- The €250 deposit must be paid prior to accessing the property.
- In case of damage, loss of keys, or violation of house rules, part or all of the deposit may be withheld.
- If no issues are found, the deposit will be refunded via bank transfer within a maximum of 7 working days after check-out.
7. GUEST LIABILITY
- Guests are liable for any damage caused to the accommodation or its contents.
- Any damage exceeding the amount of the deposit must be compensated by the guest.
- Horizon Vacation Home is not responsible for lost or stolen items or for personal injuries.
8. ACCESS FOR MAINTENANCE OR EMERGENCIES
- In the case of scheduled maintenance, guests will be notified in advance.
- In emergency situations, Horizon Vacation Home or the property owner may enter the accommodation without prior notice to ensure safety.
9. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
- All content, images, and text on www.horizonvacationhome.com are protected by intellectual property laws and may not be reproduced without express permission.
10. GOVERNING LAW & JURISDICTION
- These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus.
- Any dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts of Nicosia, unless otherwise required under applicable European consumer regulations.
